Glicolic Acid 20% bottles 125ml

Glycolic acid is a sugarcane extract. It helps to solve problems such as wrinkles, pigmentation marks, acne, stretch marks. Glycolic acid reduces these problems by stimulating cell renewal. Correct application provides exfoliation of superficial cells, reactivating the synthesis of new elastic fibres and drawing water from the connective tissue under the skin, thereby obtaining firmer and more toned skin.

USE TO FACE:

For cabin treatments, 10% to 35% glycolic acid. It is absolutely necessary to cleanse the face with cleansing milk and tonic. Brush on the glycolic acid to prevent irritation to the hands. The product is to be applied in the most marked places, carefully avoiding eye contours. Leave for 2-3 minutes. As soon as the client feels a burning sensation or sees redness, the acid must be removed with the buffer solution (which stops the action of the acid) or rinsed deeply with water. Glycolic acid treatments are not intended to replace, but to support other cosmetic treatments. Therefore, after removing, apply soothing or nutritional creams, especially from Hydrolife or Calendula Ranges, avoiding treatments using electric instruments. For self maintenance the use of AHA Range is recommended.

WARNING

Glycolic acid must not be used on sensitive or allergic skin. Salon treatments are to be performed once or twice a week on people with greasy or thick skin, while normal skin should be treated at one or two sessions every two weeks. A preliminary skin test should be carried out,  to check for possible allergic reaction over the following 48 hours.

USE TO BODY:

In the cabin, it has an eight to fifteen minute setting time, and is to be carried out once a week. It should be carried out in the winter months when the skin, especially on the face, is less exposed to the suns rays.

It should only be applied with the pen to small areas to be treated. It can be used on two different areassimultaneously as long they are not near each other (eg. opposite sides of the body, arms, legs or face). Daily use of the creams and lotions is discouraged, without a 6 day skin test with 48 hour breaks, for 2/3 months, according to individual cases.

N.W. Treatments with retinol creams are to be suspended during glycolic acid treatme
